Although it's a disruptive design that is going to change the field of medicine, it is in fact a a combination of old ideas such as a radio, a sensor, an electrolytic cell, bluetooth and mobile phone. However, what makes this product so great is that it is not about technology; it is actually something that understands a real need, and rather than being a network of things, it is a network of people. It brings the family members closer together, it brings the doctor closer to the patient. It's this relationship that is more important about this artifact, which is why this forms a great product.
